LONG TOM SHARE (50)

This syndicate share represents a 1/70^th ownership interest in leading Ohio trotting stallion LONG TOM, a son of the great MUSCLE HILL.  As he is heavily syndicated and with applications coming in early and fast, LONG TOM may be booked FULL early for 2024, like he has been in each of his breeding seasons at stud, so here is a way to be sure of access to him for your trotting mares.  The purchase of this share will guarantee you the right to breed not only one, but TWO mares each season for the life of the stallion, whose fertility to date has been excellent. 

LONG TOM has sired OHSS champions from each of his first three crops to the races, including Mohawk Million runner-up TENNESSEE TOM 2, 1:55.1f-'23 ($456K), World Champion RUMBLE STRIPS, 2, 1:53.2h ($381K), and LONGSHOT 3,1:52.2f ($378k). He has ranked among the leading percentage and money-winning sires each year, not just in Ohio, but nationally.  With LONG TOM’S 4x5x5 cross to the foundation broodmare YANKEE DUCHESS (the 3^rd dam of Muscle Hill) and the continuing success of his offspring on the racetrack, he has now attracted interest from European breeders that should provide shareholders with additional income from the marketing of frozen semen breedings.

LONG TOM will stand at Midland Acres in Ohio for a fee of $5,000 in 2024.  All shareholders will be responsible for 1/70th of the stallion’s expenses and entitled to a proportionate share of breeding income, including income from frozen semen, beginning with the 2024 season. This share IS SUBJECT to the Long Tom Syndicate’s right of first refusal. Transferees are required to become a party to the Long Tom Syndicate Agreement.
